Equilage Original is dust free and there is no need to soak it. It is healthier for the horse as it is more palatable than hay and is higher in nutritional value. It is closer to grass in texture and nutritional value and made only from selected grasses for the wellbeing of the horse.
Equilage Original Ryegrass uses specially selected ryegrasses which are picked at the beginning of summer when the plant is at an early stage of growth, this means optimum protein & energy levels are obtained. The feed is suitable for competition horses & ponies, hunters, young stock & breeding stock. It is also a healthy way of improving condition & putting weight on horses.
