Description
It is a high energy food which can be fed all year round from a table or ground feeder. This popular mix includes pinhead oatmeal because this provides high energy and essential high carbohydrates, chopped to pinhead size for all small and slender beaked birds. Sunflower hearts are included taken from the black oil sunflower and containing the highest energy varieties of all sunflowers. Peanut nibs are the growing tip taken from the whole peanut so contain the highest proportion of the nutrients. Gammarus is a small dried shrimp which offers high protein levels similar to mealworms which also include high fat levels and good insectivorous protein.
